The total number of pages in the book should always be recorded. Chapter books are recorded in 25-page increments. If, at the end of the book, you are within 5 pages of the next 25-page increment, you may put that increment on the next line. Please do not round the number of pages in the book. Please be sure to record the exact number of pages contained in the book. Thank you! See the example below.
| If the book has this many pages | It will go on this many lines | |
| 50 - 69 | → | 2 lines |
| 70 - 94 | → | 3 lines |
| 95 - 119 | → | 4 lines |
| 120 - 144 | → | 5 lines |
| And so on. | ||
| Always record the EXACT last page number. DO NOT ROUND. |

As always, chapter books have at least 50 pages and more words than pictures. If you are unsure if a book is a chapter book or an easy reader book, please send it to school with your child, and Mrs Knight, the librarian, will let your child know.
Sorry for the confusion. Thank you for your time and effort in recording your child's books on the B & B reading sheets.
